Getting a certificate containing my full name certified
- A step by step practical guide -

1/ Go to http://www.thawte.com/. In the "products" menu choose "Free Personal E-mail
Certificates"
2/ Click on "Join" and follow the steps for creating a new thawte account
3/ Log on to your newly created account with your Thawte Id (basically your e-mail address) and
your password
4/ Click on "edit ID info" in the "My Account" menu
5/ In the "National Identity Type" box enter "National Registry Number"
6/ In the "National Identification Number" enter your national registry number. This number can
be found at the back of your identity card or on your SIS Card and this is the one that contains
your birth date (reversed). Please make sure you enter it correctly.
8/ Click on the "Update" button to save the changes
7/ You will have now to allow notaries of our group to see your details. To do so, go to the WOT
Console by clicking the "WOT Console" menu
8/ Choose "find a notary"
9/ For each notary of our group, locate him using the notary map.
10/ Once you have found one of our notaries, click on "Allow xxxx to view your details".
11/ Make 5 copies of your identity card (recto verso), each copy on a separate page. We actually
need copies of an Id containing a recent picture of you and your national registry number.
12/ Send us an e-mail to thawte@pnzone.net to set up an appointment
13/ Don't forget to bring with you the five copies
